I recently started a family tree on ancestry.com and was so excited to find this site! I love looking at the pictures of the vicinity where my great-grandparents grew up.
Would love to connect with any relatives of my great-grandparents Helge Knudson Ekse (Trefall), born 1886, and Marie Gullaksdatter Nedre, born 1857 ~ on my grandmother's side. Samson Josefson Gulbraa, born 1851, and Britha (Brita) Jonsdatter Guldbraa, born 1852 ~on my grandfather's side.
I have a family tree dating back to about 1600 that somebody did for my Ekse branch, but have very little on my great-grandfather Gulbraa's side. Any help would be much appreciated. I found birth/baptism records for both my g-grandparents, but it's difficult when you don't know know the Parish.
Have traced my distant relationship to Kari Nilsdatter Trefall, and really enjoyed reading her story on this website.
